About

I am an award-winning graphic artist and writer, graduating
from Angelo State University in 2008 with my Bachelors in Communication and Graphic Design.
While enrolled, I earned a Scripps Howard grant and began my career at The San Angelo Standard-Times as both a reporter and page layout/designer.
I excelled in Media Law courses which today becomes a crucial component in protecting and benefiting my clients by keeping up with copyright laws and new ways of branding in a world of ever-changing trends. In my work, I utilize the Hi-Res detail strength of Photoshop, as well as the power of vector images and typography from both Illustrator and InDesign. Working as a professional writer, photographer, editor and designer; I’ve learned to incorporate all those strengths in my work.
Attention to detail and clear communication in both the copy and visual presentation is the foundation on which I build all creatives.
I am a prolific graphic designer; including digital, video, UI web and email, phone app design, print, animation and interactive ads - utilizing the full Adobe CC Suites.
Working in the newspaper, magazine and advertising business has honed my team work and leadership skills in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing deadlines. Design is as much problem solving as it is inspiration, and my varying experiences have accumulated in stronger designs and a successful career.
Throughout my career I’ve had the chance to work with many outstanding companies and clients doing promotion, advertising, branding, and the launching of new businesses. These include: NFL’s Bengals, HBO's Hard Knock, Lulu Lemon, Little Caesars, Acura of Las Vegas, BMW, Cadillac, Life is Beautiful, Day Spa Las Vegas, Liquor Barn, Curves, Luxury, BluePrint Saints Magazine, Keeneland, Churchill Downs, "Die! She said" of Germany and animation and title cards on YouTube.
